Food Photography - April 2015 #foodphotography
From the time , I enrolled and completed Neel's 30 days Better Food Photography course, there is a want to do more and better. I have been snapping my camera more frequent and am thoroughly enjoying it.
In this post today , I am sharing some of my favorite images captured in the month of March. I am not aiming at doing a picture a day , because it is definitely not feasible at this juncture. But what is possible is to make use of some time , as often as possible as many times a week and begin experimenting consciously.
A lot of people have written to me regarding capturing steam and admiring them .. I was really overwhelmed to see this . But I was not that excited as the ISO in the steam images below was really very high .
It was a clementines day here in March!! Sheerly because I have been picturising them. For the first time I did my homework , after the 30 days course with Neel. Studied the images on P interest, drew a photo shoot list and then had an elaborate shoot time.
One day 1 - My set up , background , props everything came out well. I did not struggle much and decide on the scene. Instead they came as I wanted. It was just like how I had directed. Assuming since the photo time was in the evening , light would not be harsh ...I did not draw a diffuser or a sheer curtain or a bed sheet. But just kept snapping.
Result is just here..
Only when I sat to PP these images , I realised light was slightly too harsh than I had imagined. Never underestimate the sun light!!!!
SO the very next morning, I woke up and redid a similar model of pictures . First the diffuser was on.
Finally a clementines day !! I am quite pleased... but still feel there is lot to do .
See you next month in the same series with more pictures to better photography.
