A Strawberry Treat : MilkShake & Cheese Cake
Both the stawberry delights are quite easy to make & I am sure your guests will be impressed with it.STRAWBERRY SHAKE
Total time : 7 Min.
Serving : 2
Strawberry | 150gm hulled & sliced |
Cold Milk | 200 ml |
Sugar or Honey | 2 Table spoon |
Ice cubes | 5-6(optional) if the milk is not cold |
Ice cream | 2 Scoops ( Vanilla/Strawberry) |
DIRECTIONS:
In a blender, combine strawberries,sugar until smooth & keep aside 6 spoons of puree.Now add milk to the rest of the puree & blend it well.
TO SERVE:
Add 2 tsp of Strawberry puree in each glass first , followed by the addition of the shake in to the glass. Add 1 dollop of vanilla icream in each glass and top it up with the puree again. Slit a strawberry a bit and keep it onto the side of the glass.
Serve the Shake & enjoy the taste !
Adapted this speedy recipe from BBC Goodfood where we can enjoy the cheese cake without any sinful feeling. My first try at an unusual combination and was successful.

INGREDIENTS:
Low Fat Ginger Biscuits | 4-5 Nos |
Extra-light soft cheese | 100g |
0% fat Greek Yogurt | 100g |
Vanilla Extract | Few Drops |
Strawberry jam /Mixed fruit jam | 1 Table Spoon |
Strawberry | 50 gm Hulled & sliced |
Tall Wine Glass | 2 |
DIRECTIONS:
- Make Chunky Crumbs out of the Ginger Biscuits(I have used McVitties Ginger Biscuits) & Add it onto a Tall Wine Glass.
- Beat the soft cheese, yogurt, sugar and vanilla together until smooth, then spoon over the crumbs and chill until you are ready to serve.
- Stir the jam in a bowl until loose, then gently stir in the strawberries. Divide the strawberries between the cheesecakes and serve.
