Showcase: Vampire Counts Skeleton Warriors by FruitBear #2

Hi everyone, FruitBear here! Here's my second batch of 10 Skeleton Warriors. These ones had a bit more detail so took longer to paint. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and got to do some free hand as well which is always daunting but a treat at the same time.

Showcase: Vampire Counts Skeleton Warriors by FruitBear

Hi everyone, FruitBear here! I guess this post is different this time from my previous Warhammer 40K ones. Here are some Vampire Counts skeleton warriors from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. I've pretty much jumped on the Age of Sigmar wagon and fully embracing it but I know there are others who have the total opposite view from me but regardless, I reckon the round bases look a treat and I hope you like them! These skeleton warriors are just 1/8 of the number of skeleton warriors I have. Whilst I'm typing this post I'm in the midst of finishing another 10 skeleton warriors with a champion, standard bearer and horn blower.

Showcase: Nagash Supreme Lord of the Undead

Today I'm showing the new Nagash model that I painted last week. The model is huge and I like it a lot as with all the new undead models that have been coming out. I tried to go with a darker to reflect the art work of the book. I really did not want him to come of looking cartoony. My best advice for this model is to paint it in separate parts and assemble it at the end. The model if fully built before painting would be quite difficult to get to certain area's. And on top of that due to the scale of the models its also quite fragile. What do you think?

Showcase: Vampire Counts by FruitBear

Hi everyone, it's Fruitbear! Here are the Vampire Counts models I've painted in the past either because I really liked the models or just for my local Games Workshop monthly painting competitions. I've actually thought about re basing the models then decided against it as they are memories of my painting progression in recent years so here they are and here they shall stay... on the square bases. In these models you will probably see some hints of me starting to use Hawk Turquoise which eventually led me to using them as the spot colour itself for my Skeleton Warriors in my previous post. Hope you all enjoy the models!

WIP: Nagash #1

Good evening. I wanted to share a few pics of a little project I'm working on. Nagash. But with my paint job I'm working of extra little tricks. First up, Lot's of OSL. I figured that if Nagash is surrounded by spirits and eldritch power then there will be very little natural lighting. So the model is about 90% with blue/green sourced lighting instead.
