Spiced up Buttermilk | Chaas & A recognition

F eels totally delighted to share , Sandhya's Kitchen has been featured one among the Top Indian Cusine Blog's for 2010..by Cooking Schools. It did take a while to find my feet stable... A recognition is worth cherishing.. Moreover when we work on something without any expectation ,giving full 100%... any appreciation brings a smile.
Why not treat yourself to this delightful masala chaas.. after a full course meal? This is surely going to be appetising and tummy pacifier...

INGREDIENTS:
Low fat Stirred Yogurt1 Cup
Water3 Cups
Finely Chopped Coriander leaves1/4th Cup
Black Salt | Kala namak1 Tsp
SaltA pinch or to suit ur taste
Cumin Powder 1 Tsp
Asofoetida 1/4 Tsp

DIRECTIONS:

Combine all the ingredients together in a large jar and give it a good blend with ur hand blender or just the conventional whisk.. Use chilled water preferably in this yummy spiced up butter milk. Serve post dinner an appetising and soothing drink for your rumbling tummies. The whole work out will not take more than 15 minutes..
Garnish with a spring of mint  and serve :).

KITCHEN NOTES:

Yogurt needs to be broken down to a smooth texture..If chilled water is not stored for use , make sure to refrigerate the prepared buttermilk for a while before serving.
If you want to serve with a froth on the top , definitely give it a good blend either by handblender or ur mixer and pour it immediately into your serving mug.

Cheers
