Cucumber Raitha | A side for Flat bread's, Pulav & Biryani's


A total no brainer recipe that can be whipped up so instantaneously .. After you have your family or your guests at the dinner table, this can be made then.. 5 Minutes is all that it takes !!
I made this Cucumber Raitha to pair it along with Aloo Paratha..  Going through my blog recipe card, I realised, my space is dearth in need of Paratha's, Raitha's and soo many basics.. Just that I make them and we have it for the meal. Never occured that I need to share some comfort,quicky cooking in my blog too..


So here it is..



CUCUMBER RAITHA
Total Time taken: 5 Minutes
Serves 2

INGREDIENTS

 1 Cup Low fat Yogurt
 6 inches Cucumber
 1/4 tsp. Pepper
 1/2 tsp. Chilli Powder
 1/2 tsp. Chat masala powder
 Salt to taste . I have added approximately 1/2 tsp.
 1 tsp. chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing

METHOD
  1. Chop the cucumber pieces in finely chopped pieces , just enough to feel the crunch.
  2. In a clean serving bowl , Add chopped cucumber to the  yogurt. Stir them until just combined.
  3. Over the top ,sprinkle the chilli powder,chat powder and black pepper and garnish with Coriander.
  4. Add the salt just before consuming .Give a good stir !!!
  5. Cucumber Raitha is ready to be served with flat breads or Pulav or Biryani.
